Praveena, the head and creative behind MulGlee is one of the the sweetest and loveliest client to have. Like so many entrepreneurs she started her business without even thinking of starting a business, she simply wanted to create sustainable and cute dresses for her daughter, Tara. Of course the other mums saw and guess what? MulGlee was born!
When we first met, Praveena wasn't sure about what she needed. The only thing she knew for sure: the images should be all about the business and not about her, as she is very shy and doesn't like being in front of a huge lens. The thing is: she IS the business, it's HER story, the business would not exist without her. I convinced her to let me capture her at work, and of course together with Tara, her daughter, the reason for MulGlee.
We also agreed that we need to showcase the dresses on bodies, not just on hangers. Praveena called a few fellow mums and asked if we can 'borrow' their kids for the shoot (I suppose a few dresses changed ownership that day). I wanted to show how robust the dresses are, that they're not just beautiful, but also really comfortable to wear.
I think the pictures show how much fun everyone had, especially the kids.
