This photoshoot was an absolute dream come true! Working with Patricia of Fancy Girl Design was a wonderful experience, and it was very clear that the images we captured would be nothing short of stylish and sophisticated. Patricia had fallen in love with the beautiful interior of the suite and knew that it would be the perfect backdrop for her recent rebranding efforts – transitioning from a more girly vibe to a more grown-up, stylish feminine tone.
Our next step was to create a Pinterest mood board, which I always do with every client to ensure that we're on the same page in terms of poses, vibe, and props. Because Patricia and I are such close business besties, having already worked on a few shoots together, she knew exactly what she wanted. Full-body, wide-angle portraits with plenty of negative space to perfectly complement the chic and stylish interior we were working with.
Not only does incorporating negative space into an image make it more visually interesting, but it also provides ample opportunities for marketing by allowing you to add text or crop the image as needed.
Patricia brought several outfits to play around with, as well as an array of props to style each individual scene to perfection. To complement each outfit change, we also had a talented make-up artist on hand to add that final touch of elegance.
I think it's safe to say that Patricia felt completely at ease and in her element throughout the shoot, which is reflected in the truly divine gallery we created together.
