LET'S SHOW THE WORLD WHO YOU ARE.
You've worked hard to build your business – and you know how important it is to stand out professionally with a brand aesthetic that makes you unforgettable.
I'm Silke, your brand photographer, and I can make that happen for you. I specialise in visual brand storytelling for female-led businesses like yours, helping to build a compelling brand that elevates your digital presence.
With over seven years of experience behind the lens, I'll narrate the story of who you are at work: your tools of the trade, what it's like behind the scenes, and most of all you as a brand leader.
"Silke is extremely professional, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable und secure during the whole process. She understands what outcome you are hoping for and thus is very efficient in guiding you towards the results you wish for."

YOU DESERVE TO SHINE
Not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera – which is why my process has been carefully honed over the years to help you feel at ease and elevate your confidence, both personally and professionally.
More than an ordinary photoshoot, my creative process directs and shapes the details of your story, from preparing a shoot script beforehand to guiding you on how to pose naturally. By the end of it, we'll be having so much fun that you'll be completely relaxed! My workflow sets you up for success – so that the final images you receive are authentic and natural, but showcase you and your work in the best possible light.
A question I often get is – why the terms zebra and jojo in my brand name? For me, it's all about the visual contrast between a zebra's bold stripes and the fragile, colourful beauty of jojo, which means butterfly in Japanese. Together, these symbolise the balance of intention and skill in photography, and the portrayal of professionalism and authentic expression that I strive to achieve for you.
I'm excited to help you thrive and grow – are you ready to do that with me?
My kids are my love… and well, sometimes joy. You know what I mean if you’re a parent! They’re both grown up now, but we’re still very close and I’m so proud of them.
Sometimes I can’t believe it’s been over 20 years, but despite the ups and downs, I guess my husband is all right. We both adore going on adventures abroad, especially hiking and exploring. Back home, we enjoy hosting themed parties for friends. Yes, themed.
Some might call me a coffee addict, but I’m not in it for the jolt. For me, coffee is a whole lifestyle – I love just relaxing or chatting with friends over a cuppa. Give me a flat white any day and I’m happy!
Styling and decorating
If you’ve never attended a Mamma Mia party or Murder Mystery dinner, come to my place next time. One of my favourite things to do is decorate for a party: mood lighting, table setting, the works. Plus, it gives a much warmer welcome, don’t you think?
My favourite place is Raffles Hotel and I would move in if I could (I was actually really sad when we had to check out the last time). The service, the décor, the atmosphere – I could go on and on. If you ever feel like treating yourself, stay at Raffles Hotel for the experience. I promise it’s worth it. And don’t forget to invite me!
Wine is a girl’s best friend. Red, white, rosé – I love them all! Honestly, I couldn’t care less about the brand or grape or soil. The taste matters most to me.
Call us cliché, but we (like everyone else in Singapore) love Japan. It’s the culture and scenery, but also the fresh pink of the cherry blossoms, the atmosphere of a hundred-year-old temple, the zen minimalism.
My family says I’m addicted to my phone. And as much as I would like to defend myself… They are probably right. No arguments there.
It’s probably rare for someone to say it, but I love the climate here in Singapore. Outdoor living is my thing (as you’ve probably already guessed from my penchant for hiking and exploring). Plus, the vibrancy of the arts scene and lifestyle here means there’s something new to check out every day.
And of course, photography makes it to this list! I adore working with brands and have met so many wonderful and unique individuals, but in my spare time I love to shoot street photography – always something new and interesting around every corner.
